StitchSlop First-Party Asset License 1.0

Version 1.0, effective 25 September 2026.

Copyright in each asset belongs to the holder shown with it in the StitchSlop Library. Each holder grants this licence for their assets.

What this covers

This licence applies to StitchSlop fonts and designs marked "StitchSlop First-Party Asset License 1.0", whether you access them signed in or not. Where an asset comes with its own licence (for example the SIL Open Font License, or a paid licence), that licence applies instead.

Permitted

You may use these assets to create embroidery, including work you sell. You may modify, resize, recolour and combine them, in StitchSlop or in other software. You may produce and sell physical goods stitched from them, in any quantity, with no attribution and no additional fee.

Physical goods you make are yours. Embroidery files you export are yours to stitch. You may share or sell an exported file when the asset is part of a larger design of your own.

Not permitted

You may not distribute the assets as assets. This includes sharing or selling the source files, extracting stitch or glyph data to reconstitute a font or design, including them in another software product, plugin, library, font pack or service, or offering them for download outside StitchSlop.

A project file or exported embroidery file may contain asset data as part of a larger design. A file or collection whose main value is providing access to the asset itself is redistribution, whatever it is called.

You may not present a modified version as an original StitchSlop asset.

Terms

Work you made while this licence applied to an asset remains covered by it, even if the asset, the licence or your account later changes.
